After Surgery June 2nd

Lexie just got spayed today. She made it through like a champ.

She was so groggy and sleepy, but the next day

she acted like nothing had happened.

She had to wear this cone so she wouldn't lick her wound.

Peaceful Moments

I have had this birdbath in my yard for several years and this is the first time I have ever seen a bird bathing in it. I watched this little bird for 10 minutes splashing and splashing and realized that it was so peaceful. I got so caught up in watching it, I forgot about all the problems in my life. Nature is amazing!!

New Puppy!!

This is Lexie!!

She is an 8 week old beagle puppy

It had only been a month since Maddie died and I wasn't sure if I was ready to "replace" her but once I saw Lexie I couldn't deny that adorable face.

She was exactly what I needed to help heal my broken heart.

I couldn't have asked for a better puppy.

She makes me laugh when she looks at me

with her two lazy eyes. The vet said if she

doesn't grow out of it, she'll just have lots

of character!!

I thought this was a cool gift for the girl that I work with that was moving out of state. It is pictures from different landmarks in Athens GA put in a frame. I had fun picking different letters of places that would mean something to her!!

St. George Utah 2009

Beautiful red rock mountains in St. George Utah

This is me in St. Georgia Utah in Sept 2009. My best friend Cali and I went down to southern Utah for a fun weekend. We went to see "Annie" at Tuacahn which is an outdoor theater with the red rock mountains as the background. Then went for a spa day full of facials, massages and pedicures. Oh to be pampered!!!

It was a great trip.
