This was the first time that Lexie and Lola

had ever seen snow.

They loved it!!

I came home to find this in the bathroom.

I thought Lola would like having more room

to play while I was at work. I guess she

kept busy chewing on the bathroom rug

which I had put up on the counter top.

How she got it down- I don't know??

Needless to say, the rug got thrown away!

She knew she was in big trouble too

BUNCO

I hosted Bunco this month.

I made white bean chili with a tomato garnish

served in bread bowls-

It turned out really good and we had a lot of fun!!

Spinach dip with veggies

Raspberry pretzel dessert

3 cups crushed pretzels

3 tbsp sugar

3/4 cup melted butter

mix and press in 9x13 pan

bake 350 degrees for 9 mins

1 cup sugar

8 oz softened cream cheese

2 cups cool whip

whip together and spoon

over cooled pretzels

spread all the way to edge of pan

1 lg pk raspberry jello

2 cups hot water

10 oz frozen raspberries

mix and add carefully over

cream cheese mixture

cool at least 3 hours before serving

ENJOY!!

Two Seasons

This poor tree is so confused!

It has Fall leaves on it and Spring blossoms

I've never seen anything like this. I've seen a tree with

Fall leaves covered in snow, but this is crazy-

Isn't this a sign of the second coming?

When Lexie was younger I would put her in the bathroom

while I was at work. She didn't like being locked up, so

she decided to show me how mad she was by being

very destructive to the walls and door.

I decided it was finally time to fix it up.

I've been so into canning lately. This summer

we had a Relief Society activity and I learned how

to can strawberry jam. Then I braved it and tried

canning Blackberry jam all on my own and it turned out great.

Then I made Peach jam.

Last week my friend Dawan came over to help me

can Apple pie filling. I'm so proud it turned out awesome!!

These are all the things I've been canning.

Time Out For Women

I went to "Time out for Women" in Atlanta

with a few girls from the ward. It was a nice relaxing and spiritual

weekend. I really enjoyed myself, it was nice to get to hang out with

girls that I don't get to see very often. We enjoyed listening to several women

from the church that have written books or that write songs.

The theme was all about having HOPE, and since we

all need a little hope to get through life, it was a very needed message!

We got to meet Hilary Weeks. She is an amazing singer

and all the other speakers.

New Hair Treatment

Today I took a class to learn how to do a new hair treatment

It is a Keratin Smoothing Treatment

that makes your hair smooth and silky-

I was so amazed!!
