Easter Egg Hunt

My ward was doing an Easter egg hunt, so

I invited Nash. He was super excited

especially about getting candy!

They divided the kids into age groups.

Nash never made it over to his age group,

he was so distracted. He got stuck with the

nursery kids. I was worried that he

would take all the eggs before the little

kids got to them, but he was just running around

in circles so excited and never looked down

on the ground where there were a ton of eggs.

It was so funny.

He finally looked down after

we kept yelling at him!

Spring Sewing

I feel like the sun here on the east coast

is really strong. I have had to change the

fabric on my outdoor furniture every year.

I used to buy really nice expensive fabric,

but have learned the expensive stuff fades just

as fast as the cheap stuff does.

Easter Gift

I received this cute Easter gift from

one of my clients. It's my first ever Easter gift.

I thought it was so cute so I'm sharing it with you.

It also had this great poem in it that I had

never heard before so I thought I'd

share that too

Jelly Bean Prayer:

Jelly beans are so yummy to eat,

It's a picture,a promise,a special treat,

To help us remember Jesus' work complete,

Gives us hope beyond any earthly sweet.

A very special Valentine

I had a very special date for

Valentine's day this year.

My nephew Nash and I went

out to dinner at McDonald's.

He brought me this picture he made and

this rose. It was adorable. We had a ton

of fun. Best date I've been on in a long time!

My Initial

I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it was

so cute and looked easy. I got the letter N made out

of paper mache, the felt, jute and ribbon at

Joann's fabrics. I started wrapping the jute around

and soon found out I needed to use the hot glue gun to get it

to stay tight especially on the slanted part of the letter.

All wrapped in jute

Made the felt flowers and attached them

Added the ribbon (I changed it from the first pic)

This one matched better. I got it at Hobby Lobby

It really turned out so cute and looks great

against my black door.

I ended up making one for my friend for her bday

Hope she likes it !!

Puppy Bowl 2012

I don't know if you all were watching the

super bowl on Sunday, but at our

house we were watching the Puppy Bowl.

Lola was absolutely mesmerized

She thought the puppies were really in our

house and she wanted to play with them !
